Who made this simulator

Guillaume Gustin (Pwablo, pwablo.be), an independent software engineer based in Brussels, designed and built this simulator. Its purpose is educational: to give an honest answer for your situation, including when the best option is to keep your car. The simulator receives no funding from carmakers or energy suppliers, shows no ads and collects no personal data.

The simulator neither asks for nor stores any personal data: calculations run in your browser. Your language choice is remembered on your device only.

Educational tool: results are orders of magnitude (uncertainty of about ±20%), based on the assumptions and sources on the Method page. They are neither financial advice nor a purchase recommendation.
